The Dahle 40634 High Security Shredder is built with a wide 16" feed opening to accommodate both letter and legal size paper with ease. This cross-cut machine produces a very small 1mm x 4.7mm particle shred size to security level 6 standards. It offers a up to 16 sheet capacity.

Those interested in conserving energy as well as reducing electrical costs will enjoy the revolutionary SmartPower Energy Management System. This multi-stage system reduces power consumption after ten minutes of sitting idle (sleep mode), and completely powers down after an additional 20 minutes of inactivity.

The Dahle 40634 uses the latest technology to offer full electronic capabilities including such safety features as Automatic Shutoff when the cabinet door opens and Auto Reverse to prevent an overfeed. Automatic On/Off and Bag Full Auto Off are features that offer both convenience and satisfaction in knowing you will be notified when it’s time to change the bag. This shredder comes complete with a built in EvenFlow Lubricator automatic oiling system. This system provides slow, continuous lubrication across the entire cutting mechanism and ensures peak shredder performance.

Normal office functions will not be bothered by the use of your 40634 High Security Shredder. Each cutting cylinder is encased in an all-steel frame and sits on rubber shock mounts. This design reduces vibration throughout the cabinet and provides whisper quiet operation.

This shredder employs a matched pair of solid steel cutting cylinders that are capable of reducing a single sheet of paper into over 15,500 tiny particles. These particles are so small that they have been rendered impossible to reassemble.
