The Model 0100 Sledgehammer Hard Drive Crusher is a physical destroyer that destroys hard drives in order to ensure the information contained on the hard drive is no longer accessible. No electric power is required for this manual hard drive crusher, and it exerts 12,000 pounds of force during the hard drive destruction cycle. Best of all, it takes only 5 seconds to destroy your hard drive.

This manual hard drive "crusher" destroys all hard drives regardless of their size, format or type (from .65 to 1.60 inches) including desktop and laptop drives. The Model 0100 HD Crusher delivers a staggering 12,000 pounds of force to a conical punch, causing catastrophic trauma to the hard drive chassis while destroying the internal magnetic disk. This "Made In The USA" unit should be bolted to a heavy-duty work bench or purchased with the optional customer heavy duty stand.

The unit is quiet, smooth and virtually vibration free. Destruction takes only 5 seconds. This machine can destroy up to four laptop drives in one 5 second destruction cycle.

The Sledgehammer Hard Drive physical destroyer automatically bends, breaks and mangles the hard drive - including the data platters upon which data is stored. Physical drive destruction prevents the drive from being able to "spin" up, thus the data cannot be retrieved. Once the Hard Drive is destroyed, the data will no longer be retrievable.

As the destruction process changes the physicality of the HD, drives that have been physically destroyed are easy to separate out for disposal. You're assured that no readable drives will be accidentally released from the premesis.
