The SV91M Degausser for High Coercivity Tape is designed to erase a broad range of magnetic media, including high density metal tapes. The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) has approved the SV91M Degausser for security erasure applications.

The SV91M provides fast, efficient operation, taking as little as ten seconds to completely erase a cassette. Its simple, compact table top operation provides a thoroughly effective and low-cost means of degaussing LTO-1, LTO-2, LTO-3, LTO-4, Super DLT-I, II, and III, Betacam SP, D2, Mll, DAT, Travan, 8mm and other high coercivity tapes.

In addition to its NATO approval, the SV91M has been approved by the UK government and meets specified requirements of SEAP (Security Equipment Assessment Panel) and the newer CESG standard for restricted or less for the secure erasure and destruction of information and data stored on magnetic media up to TOP SECRET level.

The SV91M is a compact, low noise, manually operated unit that sits neatly on a table top and has been designed with security operations in mind as its powerful degaussing fields can erase even metal particle tape.

The SV91M is ideal for the security conscious, low-volume operator who wants to have a professional, low budget solution to eliminate magnetic media security risks.

This unit comes standard with a 3 year factory warranty, and an optional additional 2 year extended warranty is available. A security key lock is available on this unit for an additional $150.

We recommend purchasing this unit with the companion carrying case, which makes this heavy desk-top machine easily transportable.
