When it comes to the fast, safe, easy destruction of hard drives, nothing outperforms the Jackhammer™ line of hard drive shredders. The Model 0300 Jackhammer Low Volume Hard Drive Shredder is designed to physically destroy hard drives in an office environment, safely and efficiently. This hard drive shredder destroys all hard drives regardless of their data capacity, format or type that will fit into the 4.5” W x 1.5” H x 6.0" D feed opening. This "mail box" type feed chute prevents the operator from reaching into the cutting chamber with unnecessary safety risk, as well a protecting the operator from "fly-back"particles from the machine.

In addition to hard drives, the 0300 Jackhammer is ideal for shredding cell phones, BlackBerries and other smart phones, data tapes, optical media, Flash and solid state drives, and other compact electronic data storage devices.

The machine incorporates a feed opening of 4.5” W x 1.5” H x 6.0 D, with a maximum thickness of media to be destroyed at 1.5 inches. Designed for office use, its small footprint was developed for low volume shredding, destroying up to 8 hard drives per minute--extremely fast for an office hard drive shredder.

When it comes to the fast, safe, easy destruction of hard drives, nothing outperforms the Jackhammer™. This high-torque shredder employs specially designed saw tooth hook cutters to chew up approximately 8 hard drives per minute - averaging just 7.5 seconds per drive. The unit is designed for an office environment and plugs conveniently into standard wall outlets. It's clean, quiet (65 to 78 dB), vibration free, and has a small footprint. It comes mounted on heavy-duty lockable casters, so the 0300 Jackhammer is mobile within your office. It's also manufactured in the United States.

Convenient Waste Collection With Auto-Shutoff
The shredded material is discharged into a convenient collection box housed directly within the system cabinet. The automatic shutoff feature ensures the shredder will shut down when the 18 pound collection bin is filled to capacity.

Operator Safe
The special 4.5” W x 1.5” H x 6.0" D feed opening is a "mail box" type feed chute designed to prevent the machine operator’s hands from reaching into the cutting chamber. This design also protects from “fly-back” particles. In addition, all the unit's doors have electronic limit switches so that the shredder will not operate if an access door is open.
